MERB (google MERB) is a good place to find out which clubs to go and what kind of "services" you could expect. There you can find detailed info even some names you should consider and avoid at some popular places. Personally I have been Hill Top, Cleopatra's, and Club Downtown and Wanda's. While all have been EXCELLENT, one rule of thumb is that DO NOT GO ANY BARS LATE NIGHT IN THE WEEKNIGHTS. As I explained before, most of the girls have day jobs and many of them are university students. The traffic on weeknights is usually very light even at the best bars around.
Another goldern rule is not to try anything near Old Montreal if you are looking for more than touching. Both Club Downtown and Wanda's have the prettiest girls in the business, but they don't offer anything outside of "dance". If you are looking for more, try Cleopatra's near french section of the city or Hill Top away from downtown.
Montreal actually is the place that had me appreciate strip dances as a type of art. There is nothing comparable to a well chorographed passionate dance by a beauty, and then being able to experience firsthand the temptations in a close encounter.... No wonder there are just strip club fans. 
Since this is Haiguinet, don't know how strip dances are right now in China. In mid 90s, once I was at an underground bar in Chengdu, the strip dances were no better than just taking clothes off. This is definitely not the type I saw then.
