Responsibilities/Job Roles
· Provide analytics supports to all Consumer Finance businesses in global through project works and very close collaboration with local database-marketing and risk management teams in different regions / countries
· Translate business problems into manageable pieces; apply statistical procedures and decision science tools to develop actionable business solutions; Including, but not limited to:
- Lead projects to develop and implement decision science tools including behavior models, response models, customer level profitability models and clusters
- Use statistical procedures to identifying drivers of losses, growth and profitability of consumer loan portfolio, and to highlight business issues / opportunities
- Optimize multiple scorecards, develop selection criteria as well as related strategies to assist sales promotions and marketing campaigns across customer lifecycle
- Convert statistical conclusion into business solution and collaborate for successful implementation in a cross-functional environment
- Miscellaneous CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and risk analyses as assigned
- Develop new modeling methodology and perform regular diagnostics to assess model performance
- Play the critical role in team leadership and project developments through GECF businesses in all regions / countries
· Be responsible for coaching and developing junior team members
Qualifications/Requirements
· MS or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, or any discipline with very strong quantitative analysis concentration;
· 2 - 3 years experience in developing statistics models and carrying out quantitative analytics in a commercial environment, highly preferred experience in the fields of credit card, loan and mortgage, etc.
· Fluent English communication and presentation competence is a must. Project development and management experience is a plus
· Dedicated to develop career in an analytical environment;
· Highly skilled at data extraction and manipulation by using of SAS. Excellent analytic capability with advanced statistics application knowledge in multivariate and discriminant analysis, CHAID, multiple and logistic regression, factor analysis and clustering;
· Be able to take international traveling and assignment
