Again, reading your article left me with a huge imagination, a pleasant one!
A word of caution: in the early 1990's, a mother took her two kids riding on a horse in a mountain in the suburb of Vancouver. They were attacked by a mountain cat, and the mother fought with the cat to save her children. In the end, the two kids ran away and were safe, but the mother was killed by the cat. This story was a headlline in Canada at that time, and many many people were moved and saddened by this tragic incidence.
MeiMei, I am not trying to scare you away from enjoying the nature, but just try to remind you to watch out when you do hiking in those beautiful mountains.
