In the reality, some dirty parents do "Wash" their dirty money through their children. So their children un-intentionally became part of the chain in the process (also the victim). That is the reason that some people are so angry at their children too, especially when you think about these rich kids who came from very poor areas in china like Qinghai or Xingjiang where most of ordinary people are worried about next meal.
