And do not forget, there is another option that is fund of hedge fund. Looking from the return-risk frontier, those two are the best choices so far. I forget to say one thing: re-invest all the bonus from the bond.
In the long-run, like 20-30 years, stock is much better esp. small cap stocks, if you believe history repeats itself. Then you may want to buy index fund or other fund without much management (lower cost). Nowadays, a good fund manager with self-respect will not want to manage normal stock funds, too many rediculous restrictions. They go for hedge funds.
Well, even if we were the same age, women live longer, because men decide to die 
keep in mind, age is not the only factor, where you plan to stay in the next 20-30 years also matters.
