It's very disappointing to see that you have adopted the party line of the US propaganda. US pilots who needed therapy? There may be a few, that's why they get all the press. But there are far more trigger happy soldiers who open fire and kill and never give it a second thought. US army did a pretty good job of news control, I guess they learned their lesson from Vietnam war and this time press is willing to play along. Yet we still have story after story of US brutality. What about US bombing civilian targets intentionally in Yugoslavia, just because they did not submit to US demands? How come Sadam is suddenly a bad guy? He did most of his killings back in the 80's when US supported him. You seem to imply US has the moral high ground here. I can't disagree more. And then you are drawing a parallel between China defending its own terittory against US intervention and Japan invading US? The number of civilians killed by 911 bombers is only a tiny fraction of what US have killed. It's just that those are called collateral damage.
