Why do you think some of the Chinese wanna go back and tell others they are Americans? Because many Chinese offer special treatments to American citizens.
personally, i want to share this with you all:
Beijing TV had a U.S. agent, and it was me. On one of my visit back to Beijing, Houston Ballet was visiting there too.
for reason I cannot share here, Houston Ballet was not to be
broadcasted on their shows by CCTV, but Beijing TV wanted to have an interview with the artistic director but not able to arrange, I was contacted to do so.
I anchored Beijing TV's show before so I wanted to do this interview for them while bringing in the director. Once I got there and so was the director from Houston Ballet, the Beijing TV column chief told me they had another person to interview
because "she is a U.S. citizen" what the fxxk does that have anything to do with anything?! I would understand if this was in USA but we were in China!
After this, I kind of understand why some of my friends picked up the blue passports and gave up on their red ones.
As for me, I do not care to vote others i do not know about in this country when they got themselves exposed to public by finacial supports available, while I cannot be ellected.
I am going to reserve my rights to be elected as president of the people's republic of china!
