Goldmund. You'll know i am not fooling you.
As I remember, the cd player alone costed about $80000.
NO kidding. Then think about the speakers, price must be
much higher. Not to mention the amplifiers.
And the real audiophile never just use a pre-amp and a
main-amp(???) to drive all the speakers. They will use
the individual amplifier to drive the individual
pair-speaker(e.g. left&right bass speaker).
And one cable would cost around $10000. Another crazy
thing.
Furthermore, these guys are never just satisfied with
one system. They'd prefer this system for symphony,
chamber music and piano concerto, etc. Another
system is for opera, violin. And how about the
pop and jazz? They did do in this way.
But it's not crazy enough yet. He might consider later
on to use these high-end speakers to build a 5.1
multi-channel system. That would be really crazy!
