OPERATIONS DIRECTOR #589461
*Position located in Shanghai, China
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage operations for NVIDIA expansion facility in Shanghai.
-Strongly assist with local recruiting and promotion of the site and company.
-Supervise diversified technical lab facility and personnel focused on regional OEM and CEM manufacturing support for NVIDIA system-level products.
-Manage facility that will maintain failure analysis, reliability, process, and system test regression labs and personnel that are extensions of their headquarters-based units.
-Provide service as initial site GM: manage local staffing, tactical direction and control functions for site including facilities.
-Interface with local administration and authorities as required. Frequent interface with senior management in Santa Clara.
-Frequent interface with manufacturing partners in Asia.
-Frequent interface with OEM regional management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum BSEE, BSME or equivalent with 10-15+ years industry experience with PCBA manufacturing.
-Preferably a present senior manager/director with a contract manufacturer.
-Experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and test engineering is highly desirable.
-Experience managing hourly labor is required.
-Should be fluent in Mandarin and English and posses good people skills.
-Successful candidate should be aggressive, desiring to be a GM or plant manager.
