The CEO brought this upon himself by preying on immigrants trying to make it in this Country. The CEO would start companies with venture funding and use the money to maintain a lavish lifestyle while cheating immigrant workers out of wages and other compensation. He would lure employees by by offering a lot of worthless stock options and very low pay...usually about 50% of the going rate. The employees, most of them immigrants, would join the company on false promises, and when the options were about to vest, the employees would be fired. I feel sad for the other people who died, but the CEO was well known in Silicon Valley for this predatory practicices. The CEO deserved what he got, may he rot in hell.
