Opinions from different angle.
You are a smart woman, take a different perspective, your target is to reach an acceptable deal. Think it as a bargaining/negotiation issue before looking into the legitimacy of the contract, everything is negotiable, period.
The new training bond opens the original offer for re-negotiation. Working on your negotiation strategy, it seems that the situation is in favour of you: They would have wasted five months if they do not hire you. 70多个人,总算找到了,极力要挖人过去。
Analyze these parameters: annual remuneration package, penalties for breaking the contract, cost of the training, career development potential and personal professional goals, and do not forget opportunity cost.
5年的卖身契 actually has its price, a seemingly unfair arrangement maybe justified by higher annual pay, you can get out easily if the penalty only accounts for a small portion of annual income; a match of career goal (need your own judgement) and job potential reduces the cost of breaking the contract, meaning you have incentives to stay longer.
You have listed the penalty schedule, but did not mention the cost of training. The employer should justify penalty based on the costs of training, not cost of hiring. YOU SHOULD NOT BE PAYING THE EMPLOYER AGENT’S FEE AS PENALTY FOR NOT STAYING LONGER ENOUGH.
Good luck SR, keep us updated
