The new district is very much industrialized and has well established infrastructure. Many MNCs in the production sectors find their ways to the SIP for a good reason. One of the notably change SIP in recent year is that it starts to attract firms with a bit R&D focus, such as Pfizer, Roche to name just a few. Nonetheless, SIP is far away to become a research basis for obvious reasons.
One of the other thing that strikes me at SIP is how the real estate developers coin names with very nice sound bytes for condo complex. A case in point is something like "Heavenly Place by the Lake." Having this kind of names may surely add premium to their pricing.
SuZhou is a very livable and pleasant place which I personally like and enjoy a lot. It doesn’t have the traffic, noisy of big cities like Shanghai but have most of the amenities or have the access to within a short driving distance, more or less like many of us living in the suburb of Chicago or New York.
