Clearing Service Business is usually part of the back office.

Jobs at an investment bank are typically divided into three types:
- Front office jobs (interacting with clients directly, the jobs discussed are mostly front office jobs)
- middle office jobs (interacting with clients indirectly)
- back office jobs (having no client interactions)
