Position: Senior Business Analyst
Department Description:
Enterprise eBusiness Solutions - Providing Professional Services in the area of Strategic eBusiness Technologies in the Asia region. Chartered with providing Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Development and Sustaining support services on strategic eBusiness Technologies for business sectors within the region and also on a global basis.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
? Identify and manage projects according to the M-Gates Solution Delivery Process on a regional / global basis with a global resource pool
? Ability to learn and gain expertise in emerging eBusiness Technologies.
? Interact directly with Customers / clients to understand project requirements and provide end-to-end solutions.
? Provide Solutions architecture and design to meet the business objectives and requirements specified by the customer.
? Willingness and enthusiasm to work in a Professional Services organization.
? Enhance the Software Engineering process methodologies.
? Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills combined with business acumen and extensive process knowledge.
Business Analysis and Management
? Solution Lifecycle Management to ensure maximum reuse and Business to Technology Transformation
? Assist Motorola sectors in developing solution roadmaps related to their business requirements and aligned with Corporate IT strategies and technologies
? Business Analysis
? Risk and Impact Analysis
? Portfolio Management consulting focused on prioritization and value assessment
? Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture business integration
Service Deployment
? Creation of Service Models including financial modeling scenarios and TCO analysis
? Champion the vision of the service to the business, IT and stakeholders by clearly communicate the benefits and strategy
? Service introduction and infusion into lines of business
? Provide leadership and guidance resolving escalated issues impacting the service
QUALIFICATION:
SKILLS
? Excellent leadership interpersonal, communication, business and collaboration skills, general management skills, influence management and organizational skills
? Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
? Good general technical knowledge of enterprise technical solutions with expert knowledge in one discipline
? Must be able to discuss business process issues with expertise and efficiently apply technology solution base for value creation
? Preferably multi-lingual – Chinese and English fluently
EXPERIENCE:
? Minimum 10 years business process management and IT Consulting
? Minimum 5 years project and program management experience implementing established methodologies
? Working knowledge of financial management and financial models
EDUCATION:
? Bachelor’s degree with specialization in a Business discipline or Computer Science
? PMP (PMI’s Project Management Professional Certification) or Master’s Certificate in Program Management or Global Business Management
? Digital Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - desirable
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Extensive working experience of Business Analysis – Supply Chain, Go-To-Market etc.,
? Knowledge of Solutions Engineering methodologies - desirable
? Working knowledge of WebLogic Application Server
? Understanding of Middleware and B2B technologies (webMethods knowledge would be an added advantage)
? Working knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP)
? Exposure to Java/J2EE, XML, RDBMS, Web Services and eBusiness Standards (like RosettaNet standards)
? Exposure to Configuration Management tools like PVCS, Clearcase etc
