Senior Project Manager, STB
Job Description:
·Responsible for STB delivery
·Define the STB specification together with STB manufacturers and our customers
·Define STB project SOW, Project plan, budget, P&L analysis in order to incorporate these into the overall end-to-end system delivery, and to keep track of the above, as well as to update whenever necessary
·Project tracking by weekly conference call
·Work closely with our worldwide for resource allocation, QC slot booking and securing, raise up priority call whenever necessary and other arrangements necessary during STB delivery procedure.
·Work closely with the STB manufacturers to assist them on understanding our requirements and support them to accomplish the STB integration within defined time frame.
·Manage the change request on new or to-be-changed features on STB.
·Manage the ClearQuest for the defect and bug list.
·Comply with the project methodology in running project(s), to ensure that all appropriate steps are executed to the agreed project time-scales
·Keep up to date with new technology and products as they come on-line
·Work closely with Account Managers and Commercial People to balance between customer's requirement and our resources
Requirements:
·Minimum bachelor degree in electronic or communications engineering or related discipline. Overseas certificate background is plus；
·10-15 years working experience, similar role experience with embedded software, hardware, telecoms, consumer electronics etc. in either foreign company or overseas；
·Significant experience in project management on project delivery (3 or more significant projects)
·Fluency in spoken and written English is essential；
·Proven external and internal communicator, both orally and written, who is well-organized and flexible；
·High level of analytical skills in a clear and logical manner and the complementary technical ability；
·Be assertive and persuasive and able to work in a matrix, team based environment and influence and motivate others in situations where the jobholder has no direct authority；
·The ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to satisfactory conclusion；
·Skilled in use of all MS Office tools, especially MS project；
·A good working knowledge of digital broadcast systems is an advantage；
·Customer focused, result oriented, self-motivating and dependable；
·Flexibility and adaptability to swiftly changing situations and solutions；
·Project co-ordination skills
·Willingness to travel
