Hello, all,
I am parker, who organized overseas travelling pic gathering on
8/04. Our 3rd gathering will be the discussion of returnee's career
development. How to play returnee's role productively, How to
position ourselves right in the China's new market economy, which is
more intergrated with world globalized economy, is very delicated
issue we all face. All overseas returnes,who are interested in
sharing career experience/perspective with a sincere attitude,
would be welcomed to attend.
Please read the unedited internal group email message as below for
the details:
I wonder how has everyone been done in the past 10 days. Melody did
a Qingdao trip, Peter went to Tibet, Xiaoshu, Parker has been
visited by parents, Caiyue has lived in her new apt for 10 days and
eventually found the cheapest way to commute to office... How about
others?
The focus of our 3rd gathering is on the sharing of career
experience, discussion of career development issue among each other.
Productive career path is the foundation of our progressive life
style. Otherwise, how can we support our future traveling?
Melody has considered to host 3rd gathering at her apt until she
realizes her international conference will end on this Saturday,
Peter's parents will visit on Sunday morning also.
The proposal for our 3rd gathering is that we meet at Passby Bar at
3pm this Sunday, have 3 hrs conversation, dine together at nearby's
modest priced restaurant, cruise Houhai's night scence afterwords
starting from Lotus Market.....
在北京一条叫南锣鼓巷的僻静小胡同里，隐藏着一扇厚厚的黑漆木门，这里
就是过客酒吧，它的斜对面是中央戏剧学院。
老板是个自由旅行家。过客酒吧的房梁上吊着硕大的羊头骨，那是老板从西藏
带回来的，墙上挂着草鞋、马鞭和旅行地图，书架上堆着各种旅行杂志和厚厚
几大本像册，里面插满了照片——布达拉宫、扎朴楞寺、甘南草原和天山的落
日……，这是一个以自助旅游为主题的酒吧，每周两次免费举办旅行见闻讲
座。羊肉串萨饼散发出的吉士香气实在勾人。碟子里酥脆的薄饼上撒满了滑嫩
的烤羊肉块，还有西式吉士，咬一口就一口扎啤，那滋味儿……
过客酒吧来来往往的都是旅行者，他们在这里喝着啤酒，掸去一路风尘聊聊一
路见闻。“在外旅行的人最渴望交流，哪里的日出最美，哪条路最刺激，哪里
有最便宜的旅店，遇到泥石流怎么办？找不到水怎么办？你看到了最辽阔的草
原，最纯净的蓝色，最质朴的眼神，就不想找人说说吗？
“过客”酒吧的酒单上有这样一句话：“WC——出门向南走，男厕31步，女厕
27步”——“这代表一种真诚的态度，我们都是匆匆过客，更需要真诚的交
流，其实旅行本身就是一种深沉的交流。”
