job purpose:
• Collaborates with business functions to establish appropriate IT planning and strategies to support the business growth constantly and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, as well as to foster IT to be a real business partner and a strong change driver for future.
• Serve as focal point for the respective business area for all IT needs, partnering to understand and anticipate strategic, market and/or operational needs, and translate those needs into effective and/or improved processes and/or technical solutions by coordinating resources from the associated IT Department.
Key Performance Indicators:
IT account manager role is recognized by the business as a key capa-bility in the application of IT solutions to business needs;
Provide input into the Strategic Planning process of business function and communicate this back via the IS Strategic Planning Process;.
Linkage to business priorities, to develop the alignment strategy be-tween IT and business function by influencing IS resource allocation and priorities;
Customer satisfactory survey, key stakeholders feedback; Consistently exceeds customer expectations, and is decisive in solving customer is-sues;
Related projects and capital expenditure by appropriate relative to business requirements; Achievement of agreed targets in terms of quality, time and cost;
Make significant and lasting contributions to the IT strategic planning;
Develops and implements systems to ensure consistent and accurate customer feedback, and utilizes this to improve customer service;
Alignment of goals & objectives with business needs & priorities as well as with associated IT Department. Success is assessed by evalu-ating associated accomplishments on targets and stretch goals.
Ability to create/ develop business value on projects and initiatives can be measured through quantitative return on investment, deployment metrics and assessment of project results.
