Title: Application Director
Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu
Report to Global IT VP
BU: Global IT Department
Key requirements: People Management, MES, SCM/CRM, leading a team more than 20+ persons
Background: A famous energy company
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement MES application strategy with cost effective rollout for Company manufacturing units across China and US.
Responsible for the implementation of MES systems, training and inspection and other related work;
Perform an advisory role for MES Application on standard Industry practices and trend to ERP/SCM team including Global/Group leaders.
Liaise closely with IT ERP/SCM Team, respective manufacturing site management and IT/Integration teams, to ensure implementation and ongoing operational effectiveness of MES systems
Support and lead future state MES application architecture & standards to drive innovation, processes optimization and quality deliverables.
Specialize in applying MES Application expertise related to Manufacturing, Dispatching, Quality and electronics data collections and Production performance analysis.
Responsible for SCM (supply chain management) system including planning, architecture design, and implementation.
Responsible for SCM system improvement on business modeling and process analysis.
Familiar with SCM processes including demand planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing and S&OP
Responsible for SCM integration to SAP ERP, MRP, and APO/APS.
Responsible for sales and marketing departments and the overseas branch management of business systems projects, including project planning, system research, needs analysis, system implementation and use promotion
Responsible for project development of technology solutions and technical implementation of the control system architecture design and development process of technology management, organizational research projects to solve various technical problems arise
Follow up the business to business changes and IT system implementation for the feedback, to provide practical and timely advice and effective services IT solutions to support business needs, and timely follow-up and business IT systems with business processes related to changes
Team management
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above;
8+ years solid experience
Understand MES Core modules
Familiar with database design such as Oracle,SQL
Strong project management skill
Understand interface of MES with other system
Familiar with operations and supply chain strategy
Familiar with SCM Process(Purchasing,Logistice,Forecasting.Etc)
Familiar with sales and operations planning
Be good at supply chain information systems
Knowledge about supply chain design and improvement approaches
"Excellent understanding of salesforce.com configuration and administration
Familiar with AM (Account mgmt.), OM (Opportunity Mgmt.), Forecast, Order mgmt., credit check, customer portal in CRM.
Manage all CRM implementation and post-implementation adoption activities such that the overall success of the CRM initiative can be closely monitored including visibility to the executive sponsors
Able to articulate value and inspire the use of CRM tools and processes
Strong technical background and CRM system, to complete the technical program development and system maintenance and management
Familiar with Windows, Linux operating system; JAVA, JSP and other Web
programming technology, skilled process of writing software to use Visio, etc
