Make sure all production process in safety, efficiently run and in under control.
² Continuous to improve the production productivity by effective management and tools.
² Organize an effective production team.
III. Working Responsibility
Major activities that are performed by the incumbent(s) of this position.
² Understand and support company strategic initiatives.
² Cost management. (production cost analysis, Tracking, Measuring, Reporting)
Implementation and follow up.
² Establish production priorities.
² Performance management (goal setting, performance measurement, recognition, feedback, coaching, counseling, confronting and reward)
² Identify and control cost impact on product and site for departmental and plant initiatives.
² Well document all the important work.
² Troubleshooting, problem solving and proactive support of the manufacturing process.
² Support continuous improvement efforts in technical process.
² Support new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with others in the Company.
² Analyze problems, make recommendations, and implement solutions as appropriate.
² Liaise with other managers within and outside the Plant group (including R&D, sales).
² Manage and develop skills needed in a changing environment within the department organization.
² -As part of Plant management team you will be expected to assist the General Manager at all time.
VI. Qualification:
List the qualification or Other special Qualifications required by the position.
Education :
² A recognized B.S Degree or above major in mechanical or engineering related.
Knowledge and skill:
² At least 10 years related working experience, 5 years as production manager
in Multi- national manufacturing company.
² Good knowledge and practice on Lean production.
Critical Competency:
² Positive, proactive approach to problem solving.
² Good analytical skills.
² Good communication and interpersonal skill.
² Good organizer to plan ahead for work.
Language:
² Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
