Position: Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION 工作地点: Shang Hai
REPORTING TO汇报线: APO Supplier Quality Assurance Manager
JOB PURPOSE 工作目的：
The ob<x>jective of this position is to ensure that the suppliers we investigate and introduce from Asia Pacific are fullfilling the global Companies Quality & Process Requirements, this ob<x>jective has reached in very close cooperation with each Regional Business Sector, US-EU-LA-AP.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES主要的工作职责：
The task consists of three parts:
1、Quality Assurance activities when suppliers and components are selected. Auditing Suppliers according to Companies documentation and standards,corrective actions follow up, PPAP ( preproduction activities) and follow up to ensure suppliers are approved according to the Companies requirements and criteria
2、Quality improvement when we are in the production flow
3、Quality support to Suppliers when needed
4、Quality Assurance covers all quality related steps during the qualification of the supplier and its components, like communicating our quality requirements, preliminary audits before the first decision point and process audit thereafter, all activities related to pre-production quality and the quality parts of the contract.
5、Quality improvement includes a continuous follow up of the supplier’s quality measured both in production and as SCR (service call rate), initiation and follow-up of improvement projects with the supplier.
6、Quality support includes transfer of know-how about our applications and education in quality methods for quality assurance and quality control. This might be initiated by an audit result, a pre-production plan or by a bigger improvement plan needed, including support also in other areas like production engineering and logistics.
Key operational responsibilities：
1、The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will the three areas described above. Supplier quality is measured through a set of key performance indicators (KPIs). It is a prime task of the SQE to meet the targets set up for those KPIs for the area of competence
2、The tasks include both own work and a lot of cooperation with factories, product development , purchasing and Supplier Development.
3、The task includes also coordination both when it comes to planning of audits (where a lot of resources are to be found in the factories) and other Quality Assurance activities (along the 20 step process) and planning of improvement activities (improvement projects are usually run with one factory SQA in the lead role), in the area of competence.
Requirements:
1、At least 4 years working experiences;
2、Engineering background with some years of experience in White Good Industries or a similar industry
- good understanding of quality, in Electrical, Electromechanical and Electronic requirements
- Good team leader
- Good communication and ability to cooperate well both within the organization as well as with APO suppliers.
3、Be open-minded, with a desire to success
Drive by results
Can do attitude, can work under high pressure
4、Good level of written and spoken English and Chinese
5、Good level of office software skills, lotus notes
