Job Responsibilities
* Support IBM tools for System management and performance management, for Japan customers
* Tools' configuration, trouble shoot, defect and requirement management
* Prepare procedures and maintain all documents related to these tools.
* Regular team meeting with Japan team
Job Requirements (skills/experience/language skills) [Mandatory to complete]
Technical Skills:
* 3+ years experience as a system engineer on UNIX, Linux and Windows (Level 3-4)
* Perl, shell, VB scripting programming experience (Level 2-4)
* Database experience, prefer DB2 (Level 2-4)
* System management tools experience in Tivoli will be added advantage (Level 1-4)

Non-Technical Skills:
* Good communication skills
* Fluent Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing in Japanese
* Reading technical documents and writing briefly in English
* Initiative and enthusiasm. Work under pressure
* Problem solve/troubleshooting/lateral & analytical thinking
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related major
Fluent (read/write/speak/listen) in Japanese. JPL-1 preferred

Job Responsibilities
Maintaining customer profiles and process docs
Change Management Process
VM host performance monitoring
Configuring Monitors for performance data collection
Performance Analysis & Tuning
LPAR planning and configuration
Configure& Manage LPAR, Central/Expanded storage, & paging subsystem.
Problem analysis and tuning zLinux level and VM host level
Create, maintain performance userids, priv authorities
VM Performance Toolkit installation & support
Analysis and resolution of all problems detected and reported by automation processes
VM Rexx coding to automate complex multi system remote monitoring
Job Requirements (skills/experience/language skills)
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of PCM Process Docs & Customer Environment.
Knowledge of VM Architecture & Change Mgmt.
Knowledge of Key VM Performance Indicators and VM Performance Toolkit Monitor.
In-depth understanding of VM and zLinux Architecture.
Skilled Knowledge of VM Architecture & zSeries Hardware.
Knowledge of z/VM CP Commands and utilities & WWVM PICKIT application.
Knowledge of networking and toolkit web interface.
High level of REXX and TOOLSRUN skills.
Non-Technical Skills:

Fluent in English(both written and verbal )/ Strong Judgment/ Analytical Ability
Demonstrated positive attitude, must have excellent team working skills
Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates) )
Bachelors degree,
Graduate from an institution of repute.
Preferred Degree/Diplomas would include Information Technology; Engineering or Science
