Position PM (Exchange OWA PM)
Department Microsoft Business Division China (MBDC), Microsoft China R&D Group
Location Beijing, China
Responsibilities This job requires you to manage the web program that is involved in designing, building, and shipping technology. Your challenge will be to deliver email web access solutions in fierce competition with Google, Yahoo and anyone else who aims to nudge Outlook Web Access (OWA) down from the top spots in their categories.
Some of your important partners will be Internet Explorer, Outlook and Office Communication Server. The 50,000+ Microsoft and 100M+ worldwide end users who rely on Exchange every day will be your constant reviewers/critics/admirers. The Exchange Client Access dev and test teams, focused on making each new version of OWA best of breed in the world, are your comrades in arms.
To succeed in this role, you need experience going through the full ship cycle of a complex software product from the planning stage to the end game and release to market. Experience in Scrum and Agile is a plus. You must have knowledge in web development technology, especially in Ajax. You’ll also need good technical design strength, plus good instincts about UI design. Graphics design ability is a also plus. This role is based in Beijing China, you will need to work side by side with development and test teams in Beijing, China, and work closely with other teams in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications Minimum 4+ years working experience in software development/testing, at least 2 years in Project management.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Excellent result driving capabilities, strong problem solving skills and cross-group collaboration are desired.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.
Prior product development and in depth hands-on, working knowledge of Microsoft Server products, .NET, C++/C#, and AJAX is a plus
A BA/BS degree or above in Computer Science or a related technical field
