For common diseases, any doctors can do the magic. But for tricky ones, patients need to understand "knowledge is power"! Most doctors are so used to looking for causes in their own specified fields and only concentrate on treating symptoms.

If I didn't insist and didn't search online extensively and didn't find www.lymenet.org and didn't request high dose antibiotics and didn't find my current doctor to continue treatment, I may have already died or commited suicide or become crippled or gone insane by now...

Yes, it's hard cold bloody truth!!!

Knowledge is power, and you may want to read this book which I loved...

It has many true stories of doctor's misdiagnoses and pitfalls of their thinking...
